The video or audio connection doesn’t work, what do I do?

Network issues can be due to:

  1. Incompatible Network settings
  2. Slow/insufficient network speeds
  3. Firewall issues

Network compatibility

To Test Network compatibility, you can try using the Network Connectivity Doctor from OpenTok. 

Download this application and Run the Test to ensure that your network will support TouchCare.

Network Speeds

We recommend at least 1Mbps up and down for reliable connectivity. Speedtest is a handy utility to test network speeds.

Make sure that speeds are sustained at >1Mbps

Firewall issues

If there are still issues, there may be network configuration issues. Please have a one of your network administrators contact support@touchcare.com to get our system requirements documentation and to ensure that firewalls are configured correctly.
